Saturday 26th April 2025
Today we are cruising from Sipan to Dubrovnik.
As per the plan
A very quiet morning until we approach Dubrovnik. The walls, the walls which i am told are much better than Korcula's walls. Korcula's are a joke, apparently!
We are cruising past for photos.

Buffet lunch today but no pasta or pork in beer for me.

as opposed to this one....Finally we arrive in Dubrovnik and are to take a coach to the old city and do a one hour walk of the city with free time at the end before getting back on the bus at 5. Simple.
There is a bit of rain and the limestone stones and pavers are slippery. There are quite a few other tourists but we are told this is a tenth of the numbers in the high season. We are very lucky but it is still busy and not everything is open.
What an amazing city. I wish I could remember all the information and history but alas...
This is where you are meant to stand on the outcrop and touch the wall while standing. Brings good luck with romance. No one in our group tried.

And then from the walls, the views were amazing.
We stopped for a bit of food, mainly so we could use the bathrooms.
And back to a special farewell dinner.
W said our good byes to the group as well as to the crew. A few tears were shed.

beef tartare with special gluten free squares of bread. Nice
Paul had tuna.
Clear soup with mine served without the pasta. Fine with me

My dessert was an almond praline thing and was the best dessert by a very long way so far.And so our last day was over. Tomorrow we disembark for good........
